Every week, our doors are open to provide emergency services to individuals and families facing financial hardships. Anyone can submit a request and receive food, beverages, baby items, toiletries, assessments for emergency housing and job placement, and referrals to over 30 agencies that we partner with who provide complimentary services.
Emergency Food
Families and individuals can receive free emergency groceries. Our food packages fit the cooking capability of families who are homeless, or in hotels that may not have a refrigerator or stove, or with homes whose utilities have been turned off, as well as families with fully functioning kitchens.
Financial Stability Assessments
When families are, in need of support, we can assess the degree of financial instability in the household, examine their current income and their potential income, and then tell them if they are eligible for any financial assistance with rent, utilities, transportation, moving expenses, housing deposits, or temporary placement in emergency shelters.
Get/Renew Food Assistance Services
If you need to sign up for food assistance or renew your food assistance services, you can stop by and complete your SNAP application. This is a part of our public benefits screening program, which screens families for public benefits like Medicaid and Medicare and tells them which services they’re eligible for.
Household Products
While families and individuals are receiving emergency food and being screened for any other programs that they are eligible for, they can receive clothing, toiletries, baby items, first aid kits, cleaning supplies and more. During a family’s transition from instability to stability, it’s important that we supplement as many household expenses as possible.
